OVERTON COUNTY UPDATE:

Dear Parents and Community Members: We have some great news!!! Our breakfast and lunch program will continue just as it is now through June 30th, 2020. We will continue passing out the bagged lunches at AHR from 8:00 - 8:45 each Monday and Wednesday morning. We are so very thankful to be able to continue this for the children of Overton County.

Starting April 1st, Monday thru Friday 10am-11am at the following elementary schools.  Pine Haven, York, Allardt, and South Fentress, 
Parents can go to school of their choice, DO NOT get out of vehicle. Drive up to site Pine Haven is at front door, York is at side door, Allardt is at front door, and South Fentress is at front loop. A staff member will bring meal out to the children present. They will be serving breakfast and lunch together. Any child in the county can participate. The only requirement is that children are present in the vehicle.

 Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Cookeville has disaster relief supplies. White County families impacted by the storm could be served there. They have packed food boxes and baby supply boxes. The gym is open 12-5 Monday through Saturday. It's recommended to  call Jefferson Avenue at 931-526-4605 if you have any questions.

UPDATE:
Next week the service location for student meals in Smithville will be moved to DeKalb County High School. It will still be a “drive thru” service. The meals are for any child 18 & under. Families will receive all call reminders of the update.

PICKETT COUNTY UPDATE:

Starting next week, buses will be delivering food on Monday and Thursday only. Monday you will receive meals for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday you will receive meals for Thursday and Friday. We are trying to cut down the number of times you are having to come out to get food for your children

UPDATE for Putnam County Schools Meal Program

* Free Internet:  “Parents can sign up for free internet at Internet Essentials for two months.  After the two months, you can keep the service for only $10 per month. The application is simple and you must select the school that your child attends to receive the discount

* 211 Reassurance calls – for those who potentially become isolated due to social distancing From the Contact 211 website:

Reassuring by providing scheduled, daily calls to the elderly, homebound and anyone with limited contact with the outside world. If you would like to sign up, or know of someone that may benefit from the Reassurance Call Program, please call us at
